It is typically those that are very serious that are still in the market at this time. Sellers that are listed over the holidays don't necessarily have to move out over the holidays, but many times they do or have already moved out and have a more urgent need to get their home sold. If you are a potential seller and would like the peace of mind that your home is selling or sold, but not ready to move before you take the tree down it is possible to agree upon a longer escrow period, or even negotiate renting your home back for a few weeks to avoid the holiday move.
